How We Worship

Our Worship is both ancient and contemporary, bringing the ancient framework of Christian liturgy into a contemporary environment. The central weekly service of the congregation is The Divine Service, in which God serves us in Word and Sacrament. The Divine Service is composed of three parts:

The Introduction, in which we both confess our sins and sing hymns of praise and thanksgiving.
•The Proclamation of the Word, in which we are instructed through the Scriptures and Sermon.
•The Celebration of the Holy Supper, in which we are strengthend through Holy Communion.

While following an ancient format (provided in our Book of Common Prayer), we seek to bring worship alive with music and preaching that honor what has gone before and celebrate what God is doing among his people today.
"...the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching,
and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals
(including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer."
Acts 2:42 (NLT)
